I was expecting this to be the old front loader instead of just having a lid that the user opens and closes. I wonder how long before the 5 and 6 years break it. Also, the kids have played the lego starwars for a lot of hours and keep wanting the new lego batman so after the first ps2 broke and it was xmas, well the choice was obvious. But they only played the batman lego for a few hours before they wanted a different game so it's certainly not a great upgrade from the starwars version I guess. But the price was awesome and there was no way I was going to get them an xbox for twice as much after they broke the first ps2.

I got this Playstation 2 to replace an old Playstation 1. I was also curious to be able to play the DVD like games. It reads the discs so much better than my old Playstation! That is a big plus right there. The new games have better quality graphics too.
It is frustrating that it does not come with a memory card, which you are going to need on lots of different games. The movie did not interest me. I tried the Batman game, but it was very frustrating. I haven't touched the game since. I would get the Singstar pack now, if I could do it over :-)

The bundle is a great deal. The game its real nice, you can either play Batman and Robin or the villains. Great game for all ages. A lot of fun!

Sony playstation 2 is a very good product, slim, small & easy to assemble, a great price for the package deal. very affordable
the Batman game was a little confusing to several different age groups but eventually it was figured it out and people had fun.
